Prosthetic Feet
C-Walk 1C40
Many prosthesis wearers want a prosthetic foot that supports the most natural possible gait pattern, so that others cannot see an impairment right away. Ottobock based a development objective on this wish more than a decade ago. The result: A carbon fibre prosthetic foot called the C-Walk, which not only makes a symmetrical gait pattern possible but also reduces strain on both sides of the body, the one with the prosthetic fitting and the sound side. The basic principle of this unique design is based on linking a C-shaped carbon fibre spring with the base spring of the foot via a control ring.
In every phase of the gait cycle, the C-Walk returns the amount of energy actually required for a rollover that is as physiological and harmonic as possible. Therefore you always walk comfortably and dynamically.
The Challenger: A multi purpose prosthetic sport foot
From a relaxed run in the forest to spontaneous changes in direction on the basketball court to side steps in a tennis match – with the Challenger we offer you a multi purpose prosthetic foot that will impress you with its broad functionality.
Exchangeable heel wedges allow quick and individual adaptation of heel and roll-over characteristics, depending on the sport and level of strain.
In contrast to conventional sport feet, the combination of the basic spring and heel wedge offers you greater control and therefore an enhanced level of stability when you make sudden movements as well as for walking and standing. This makes the Challenger a reliable and versatile foot that you can wear both for a Sunday run in the forest as well as at a tennis tournament.
The Challenger is intended to be used without a footshell in low top sports shoes. For transfemoral amputees, the Challenger can be combined with the Genium X3 and Genium mechatronic knee joints.
Dynamic Motion 1D35
After an amputation, patients want a prosthetic foot that offers a largely natural gait and independence in everyday life. With the 1D35 Dynamic Motion, we have developed a prosthetic foot that makes a more harmonious rollover process possible for users with a moderate mobility grade, and therefore comes very close to the natural gait. A cosmetic foam cover gives you the added good feeling that your prosthetic food looks good. Flip-flops can be worn thanks to the space between the big and middle toes.
The Dynamic foot is suitable for prosthesis users with a transtibial or transfemoral amputation, hip disarticulation or knee disarticulation. The foot is available in the sizes from 22 to 30 centimetres and can be used for a body weight of up to 100 kilograms depending on the foot size. Your orthopaedic technician will be happy to advise you regarding your special requirements.
