Prosthetic Knees System
C-Leg
Around 75,000 fittings worldwide confirm the proven quality of the C-Leg. No other microprocessor-controlled leg prosthesis is trusted by as many people with a transfemoral amputation. Studies prove it: The C-Leg is the safest microprocessor-controlled knee joint and therefore extremely reliable. From stairs and ramps to varying surfaces and walking backwards – the C-Leg adjusts dynamically to different everyday situations. Integrated Stumble Recovery ensures even greater safety in everyday routine. Users can intuitively stand in a relaxed position with the knee joint slightly flexed. There is a new option to control the joint with an app on Apple as well as Android devices.
Knee joint 3R80
As a prosthesis wearer, you want to be confident that your knee joint meets your daily requirements and supports changing walking speeds. Through continuous further development, our goal is to offer you a knee joint that makes you as independent as possible in everyday life.
The 3R80 with its unique rotation hydraulics principle is now also approved for prosthesis wearers with a body weight of up to 150 kg. With the 3R80, both the stance and the swing phase are controlled by the hydraulics. For example, walking down stairs step-over-step and walking down inclines are effectively supported by closely approximating a physiological gait pattern, even at various walking speeds. The 3R80 is water-resistant to a depth of 3 metres and has a manual lock for even better safety, especially in wet areas.
Genium
With the launch of the Genium Bionic Prosthetic System a breakthrough in the field of knee prosthetics was achieved in 2011. Unequalled natural walking, climbing stairs step-over-step, overcoming obstacles, walking backwards, standing on slopes and much more: people with a prosthetic leg benefited for the first time from entirely new features, both during leisure time and at work.
Due to feedback from technicians and prosthesis users, we have further improved the innovative concept of optimised physiological gait (OPG) and the intuitive controls. This results in clear advantages when it comes to safety, a natural gait, endurance and mobility. Bilateral prosthesis users especially benefit from the new intentional stance function that complements the intuitive standing function. Now, prosthesis users can also conveniently control their Genium via smartphone with the Cockpit app for Android devices. All for one goal: an active life.
Knee joint 3R60 EBS
Knee joint technology relieves strain on the back and residual limb
Are you looking for a knee joint with a low net weight, which supports you at various walking speeds and allows you to approximate a natural gait pattern? Then we have a convincing alternative for you with the EBS technology integrated into the 3R60 and 3R60 Pro knee joints.
"EBS" stands for ergonomically balanced stride and permits limited stance phase flexion based on the physiological model. The integrated hydraulic unit, which controls the behaviour of the knee joint in the swing phase, was designed on the basis of gait analysis studies so that it supports you in a wide range of walking speeds. Furthermore, the knee joint makes sitting down straightforward and offers greater ground clearance when swinging the leg through, which improves safety in addition to enhancing comfort. The 3R60 EBS & EBS Pro knee joints are suitable for prosthesis wearers with a moderate activity level and especially for smaller and lighter users.
ClickValve
Innovative valve closure for your prosthetic socket
There are various prosthetic fitting options after a transfemoral amputation. Users who choose a passive vacuum system require a closure valve to ensure that the residual limb is firmly and comfortably seated in the prosthetic socket. Our innovative ClickValve valve closure system offers a number of benefits for users.
Compared to classic flat and threaded valves, the threadless design of the ClickValve not only makes opening and closing easier but also prevents hair on the residual limb from getting caught. Furthermore, the conical shape makes insertion into the lower valve part simple. The audible click indicating proper valve placement is a special benefit. The ClickValve also has a safety device that prevents the upper valve part from getting lost. Your orthopaedic technician will be happy to provide you with further information regarding your personal requirements and the use of the ClickValve
Harmony P3 vacuum system
Better prosthesis adhesion with a vacuum pump
Prosthesis wearers know how important the good fit of their residual limb in the prosthetic socket is. The objective is to minimise forces acting in the socket, such as impact, rotation and tensile forces, in order to ensure the best possible wearer comfort. Good adhesion in the socket with the simultaneous reduction of fluctuations in the residual limb circumference is the primary objective. Our Harmony P3 vacuum system does both, regulating the best possible fit of the residual limb in the prosthetic socket with a weight-activated mechanical vacuum pump.Smaller and lighter than its predecessors, the Harmony P3 pump sets itself apart with a lightweight and slim design that is readily compatible with a visually appealing cosmetic cover and can be combined with various prosthetic feet. The mechanical Harmony pump is intended for users with a moderate to higher mobility grade. Your orthopaedics specialist will be happy to advise you regarding your personal requirements
